The Mystery of Fire Stone

Synopsis

Aiming for the so-called "dinosaur iwana," Sanpei and old Ippei head into the secluded Hi-ishi-dani gorge — only to be discouraged by fresh footprints. In a narrow canyon with few good spots, having someone ahead of you really hurts your catch. Pushing on for better spots, Sanpei and Ippei finally encounter the people ahead — but they aren't anglers after the same prey: they're a university research team investigating the origin of the name "Hi-ishi-dani" ("Fire Stone Valley").
