Penpen Fishing and Pokan Fishing

Synopsis

Going down to the Sankaku-gawara to fish, Sanpei is taken aback by the rod handling of an unfamiliar boy, Hajime. Hajime's specialty is "penpen fishing" — casting a fly down onto the river surface. Sanpei tries to copy him and take up penpen fishing right away, but can't get the hang of it. Eventually the two hit it off, and Sanpei promises to teach Hajime his own specialty — "pokan" fishing with a frog as bait.
