Rolling Fallen Sweetfish Fishing

Synopsis

From dusk into the night, ayu spawn — and "ochi-ayu" fishing snags them by rolling a hook-laden line through the water. Late at night, while Sanpei is fishing alone waiting for the old man Ippei to arrive, he hooks too many ayu at once and struggles with his rod. A man named Kazuyuki who appears just then helps him out — but this man, it turns out, is an escaped convict on the run.
