The Roar of the Blaze

Synopsis

After visiting his father Kuranosuke's grave, Shinnosuke runs into a fire in Meguro. He discovers a storehouse rigged with the "Shudoryu," a colossal torrent of flame. With Gengo's teaching—"protecting lives is our duty"—held close in his heart, he tries to save a dog, but gets caught in the explosion. Gengo, sunk in the depths of despair, is brought back by this incident and the cry of Samon's soul, and once again heads into the blazing streets of Edo.
