A Fire-Slayer's Duty

Synopsis

In the winter of Edo, with the air dry and the north wind howling, a great fire strikes the town of Yotsuya! Standing in the way of the Ragged Fire-Slayers is the "Kaga Tobi," the fire brigade with the greatest popularity and skill in all of Edo. "Protecting temples and shrines is our pride." "Protecting lives is a fire-slayer's duty!" Two clashing convictions. As Gengo dives into the burning paper wholesaler, the fear of fire that became a scar on his heart assails him once more! A rolling "bell" changes fate.
