Synopsis

Led by Nagumo, Kaga visits his villa. There he comes face to face with the machine 'Ogre,' enshrined at the site, which once drove two test drivers to their deaths. Being the original of the Alzard, that machine had been built in life by Nagumo's brother and was, in effect, a sibling machine of Asurada. On Sunday morning, receiving a call from Katagiri and rushing to the test course, Kyoko finds Kaga driving the Ogre around the circuit. Unable to control the Ogre, which was like a bucking horse, Kaga runs off the track, rides up onto the curb, and can't even fix the car's heading. Kyoko demands an explanation, but Kaga, who learned from Nagumo of the team's withdrawal this season, declares to her that he'll do as he pleases and summons the two mechanics Gray and Phil from America. Kaga gives up entering round 2 and keeps running the test course relentlessly with the sole aim of mastering the Ogre. No matter how Kaga tries to subdue it by force, the Ogre, as if it had a will of its own, refuses to obey. But Phil quickly sees that the Ogre is the original of the Alzard. With Phil's advice, Kaga too begins to grasp, however vaguely, how to handle the Ogre, and somehow manages to at least 'make it run'.
