Love after the Downpour

Synopsis

Kiyomi, a school doctor on a remote island, is surprised when Black Jack suddenly appears. He's come to see Kiyumi's brother Ikuo, who once helped him, but learns Ikuo has long since passed away. Black Jack plans to leave on the next boat, but a storm cancels the ferry service, forcing him to stay at Kiyomi's clinic. That night, a mass food poisoning outbreak occurs. Kiyomi asks for Black Jack's help, but he declines, saying internal medicine is outside his expertise. When Kiyomi returns from making house calls, she finds the principal of the school, who fell from a cliff, on a bed—Black Jack had stayed at the clinic after all.
