Synopsis

The audition for the players of Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World"—the regular concert's main piece—begins. As violin sounds leak into the hallway, the tension of the members waiting their turn rises. Which of him and Saeki will win the better seat? Aono was in the spotlight. He wants to beat his rival, and he wants to make Mr. Ayukawa acknowledge him. Aono's turn comes. The third-year judges sit with their backs to the performer.
