The Secret Spell of Frozen Time

Synopsis

Having seen through that Mystvearn's secret is the 'Secret Spell of Frozen Time,' the Beast Boy (Brokeena) toys with his opponent through fluid movements, trying to create a chance for Popp to unleash Medroa. But Popp's body had stiffened completely from the pressure. So Brokeena begins to speak of his past with Avan. The 'Secret Spell of Frozen Time' is a spell that halts an opponent's time, and over a decade ago Avan cast it on Hadlar, only for the recoil to freeze his own time as well. Brokeena had belonged to Avan's party along with Matoriv back then, and witnessed it up close. And, Brokeena continues, the Medroa that Matoriv devised from that very experience is the only means capable of countering Mystvearn, who seems immortal with his time frozen. Receiving the will of his predecessors, Popp shakes off the pressure and lets his magical power surge. Mystvearn resists by using the captured Brokeena as a shield, but Popp fires Medroa, overtakes it with Lura, and rescues Brokeena. Everyone was certain the spell would hit Mystvearn directly, but he deflects the Medroa back toward Popp and the others, and Popp and Brokeena are swallowed up by the light…
