A Dead Heat at the Kotatsu

Synopsis

Winter. Kotaro is curled up under the kotatsu, and Gon is trying to drag him out for ninja training. Just as Gon goes to teach him the water-style jutsu, Kotaro slips away. Furious at Kotaro's laziness, Gon snaps. Meanwhile, every kotatsu in town starts walking on its own — the work of a demon beast. Caught in a parade of kotatsus, Kotaro is rescued by Rikiya and Yousuke. He grumbles that if he'd been wearing the Ganbar Suit, this never would have happened — but Gon scolds him: it's the user's heart that matters more than the tool. The rift between father and son deepens. Meanwhile, the kotatsu grows huge and swallows the town of Aozora whole.
