📅 August 28, 1979🕐 25 min
Synopsis
The young monks are sluggish from the oppressive heat. The abbot forces them to practice austerities: stoking fires and making them wear heavy robes. The general, also suffering, wants to move the Golden Pavilion to float on a pond's reflection—but the temple pond is parched. What's Ikkyū's solution?
