Synopsis
The shogun plans to outdo Ikkyū with a Southern Barbarian clock, wagering that Ikkyū can't stay silent for a quarter-hour. Ikkyū falls for the trap and speaks—and the shogun is delighted. But when disaster strikes the Yamashina area in a mudslide, refugees arrive at the magistrate's office.
