Synopsis

Maruko envies Fujiki, whose parents both work, making him a latchkey kid who gets to be so carefree. One day, Mom heads off to Grandma's place in Shizuoka and Grandpa and the others go to the community center, leaving the house empty. Even though her sister and Hiroshi warn her she'll lose it, Maruko is thrilled when Mom entrusts her with the key. But when she gets home and tries to pull it out of her pocket...
