Summer Shaved Ice

Synopsis

Yocchan, a former delinquent, gives Maruko the panda-shaped ice shaver she'd always admired, since he doesn't need it anymore. Maruko and Grandpa, thrilled that they can now make shaved ice at home, try to whip some up right away — but it turns out you can only make shaved ice with ice frozen in the special container. Forced to wait for the ice to freeze, they end up not getting to eat any that day after all.
