One Day of Summer Vacation Without Mom

Synopsis

Mom heads off on an overnight trip to Lake Hamana with friends, and her sister and Grandma each go out on their own too. Left to mind the house, Maruko, Dad, and Grandpa are thrilled at the chance to laze around all day. When Maruko complains about the heat, Dad tells her eating something hot actually cools you down, but she doesn't believe him and calls it a lie. So they decide to hold an endurance contest, and the three of them bundle up in layers of clothes...
