The Ghost Timer

Synopsis

Chronic latecomer Gian drags Nobita into trouble at school, and in his fury, blames Nobita for his own bad wake-up habits, beating him senseless. Back home, Nobita is scolded by Mom after a teacher's call and told to do homework and sleep early. Too despondent to focus, he lies down for just five minutes. Doraemon produces the "Ghost Timer." Set it, and five minutes later, a mischievous ghost pops out of the clock, circling Nobita and nagging: "Do your homework!" Nobita scrambles to his desk, and every time he tries to rest, the ghost harasses him again. Only once he finishes does the ghost vanish, revealing the timer's true purpose.
