Abalone Hunting Submarine Launch

Synopsis

While Nobita recovers from a cold, Sneaky visits to brag about his family's beach villa and the fresh abalone and clams they've harvested. Jealous and housebound, Nobita begs Doraemon for an escape. Doraemon provides the "Radio-Controlled Submarine Set," mounting a periscope on the ceiling and launching the submarine into a nearby river. Operating the controls from his room and watching through the periscope, Nobita navigates toward Sneaky's villa's coastal waters. Obsessed, he forgoes snacks and programs overnight autopilot toward his destination. By morning, the submarine reaches the target—but a periscope observation reveals complications.
